Job Details

Qualcomm is the industry leader in 4G & 5G communication technology. QTI, subsidiary of Qualcomm, is looking for a Senior Director - Modules Development. The Sr. Director - Modules Development will develop Plug&Play Module solutions (PPMS) and ensure consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. Coordinate, implement, execute, control and manage the successful completion of PPMS by following the main steps:
  • Develop the most efficient Hardware modules per market segment
  • Participate in the selection of the most appropriate suppliers and technologies per commodity
  • Promote and defend pre-selected solutions to the target audience
  • Ensure Module designs are manufacturable and deliverable within defined financial, resource and time constraints
  • Participate in the pre-selection/selection of the main module manufacturer in ODM mode (manufacturing made based on Qualcomm Specifications)
  • Create Internal Controls and Metrics (KPIs)
  • Develop a plug and play business model dedicated to those Module solutions which allow the Company to build a portfolio of new and better services for clients:
  • Participate in the definition and selection of the Interface Operating System, firmware, software solutions and applications
  • Develop a software-based platform or customer portal
  • Participate in the definition of the portal
  • Introduce level of permission by customer
  • Develop content solution of the portal

    Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years Project Management experience or related work experience.
  • 5+ years working with operating budgets, resources, and/or project financials.
    Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Electronic board assembly and manufacturing assembly (PCBAs) and in Surface mount technology (SMT)
  • Experience in ICT test and test in situ
  • Experience in the management and the promotion of the following documents: RFI (Request for Information), RFQ (Request for Quotation), RFT (Request for Tender), RFP (Request for Proposal)
  • Experience with project management techniques and tools

    Education Requirements Required: Bachelor's, Business Administration and/or Electrical Engineering
    Preferred: Master's, Business Administration and/or Electrical Engineering
