Slice is hiring a Sales Development Representative to join our Slice Intelligence Team.

The ideal candidate will prospect and generate leads for the sales management team for the Slice Analytic solutions business, and will have experience building and managing a pipeline, has a hunter attitude and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced startup. The candidate will also be data driven and an effective communicator. We’re looking for a motivated salesperson looking to grow their career.

Slice Intelligence is high-definition data. With a panel of over 5 million online shoppers, Slice Intelligence provides the most detailed, and accurate digital commerce data available, and is reported daily.

Founded in 2010, Slice Intelligence is the arbiter of e-commerce measurement. Our data and research insights are drawn from a proprietary methodology which enables us to parse online purchase records from e-receipts in near real-time.

Responsibilities:

  • Research contact information for prospects and creatively identify the best ways to develop a relationship and sell Slice’s products
  • Generate and Cultivate Leads:  Contact leads using in house tools, phone, email, etc. to establish relationships within target companies and generate interest from decision makers
  • Set appointments for sales team members with qualified prospects
  • Manage a pipeline: use sales tools to cultivate and qualify leads that turn into quality appointments.
  • Use in depth selling knowledge to educate prospects on Slice’s Data and Insights based solutions
 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 2+ years of experience in lead generation for sales or business development teams roles in the Market Research, Consumer Packaged Goods, digital or big data industries 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with CRM and other outbound sales tools, such as Salesforce or Outreach.io
