This corporate recruiting specialist will play an integral role supporting the recruiting function and contribute to the overall success of the organization by providing a high level of customer service, administrative support, and project coordination throughout the full-cycle recruiting process. This position will require an understanding of processes for candidate management, company policy administration, and other related activities in order to provide the appropriate support to the staffing function.
The Internal Corporate Recruiting Specialist must possess considerable skills in interviewing techniques, a good knowledge of all job functions in the company, a basic understanding of the company's organizational structure and culture, as well as an extensive knowledge of personnel policies and procedures and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
This corporate recruiting specialist will develop creative recruitment solutions to include resume database mining and searching, social media, networking, college recruitment, as well as identifying new sourcing channels. The corporate recruiting specialist is also responsible for cultivating a superior candidate experience from first contact and throughout the hiring process, leveraging the company brand at every opportunity.
• Recruit for all open positions within the company
• Recruit at job fairs, schools, military bases, and hiring conferences
• Research new markets, colleges, associations, to build awareness and establish relationships with business and community resources and leaders; source regional media channels most aligned with our business
• Work with hiring managers to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria
• Execute staffing initiatives as it relates to company growth
• Source, screen and interview candidates in order to ensure a strong candidate pipeline, while providing timely and innovative sourcing results and solutions
• Prepare and manage job postings, assemble recruitment materials, and schedule candidate interview and phone screenings while ensuring proper follow-up with hiring manager and candidate to ensure a seamless recruitment/interviewing/onboarding experience
• Create and manage open requisitions - new and termed employees
• Generate weekly, monthly, and annual recruiting data and reports for executive team
• Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data for AAP requirements
• Support the candidate interview process to include pre-employment testing, background and reference checks, and drug screens
• Develop and maintain a robust on-boarding process for new-hires
• Plan, organize, and implement a range of training activities for all employee levels
• Conduct new temp employee orientation, employee relations counseling, and exit interviewing
• Process new hire paperwork
• Prepare new hire welcome packages
• Assist with event planning
• Provide clerical and administrative support, to include filing, copying, scanning
• Maintain employment folders
• Maintain HRIS and compile reports, as needed
• Meets with HR Manager to develop recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing levels
• Direct the efforts of staffing agencies, to include identifying qualified candidates
• Schedule and attend job/career fairs
• Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions
• Assist in reporting all new hire, termination, change of address updates to carriers and TPA's
• Assists HR Manager with various research projects and/or special projects.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent degree.
