Quality Auditor position in Miramar area!

Are you familiar with FAA , ISO, and NADCAP standards and regulations?  This position may be for you!

Monday through Friday 7am-4pm


  • To ensure that the Company is in compliance with all policies, procedures, rules and state and federal regulations through the creation, development and implementation of internal audits, practices and procedures for various departments.
  • Creates and maintains good rapport with contacts.
  • Creates, plans, organizes and performs internal audits of quality programs and procedures.
  • Works with the Quality Leader on developing and performing training and quality program/procedure implementation.
  • Generate and track corrective/preventive action.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in developing policies, procedures and best practices to ensure that the Company and its various departments are in compliance with internal as well as, state and federal rules and regulations.
  • Capability to follow through on audit findings to ensure that any discrepancies are timely resolved. Knowledge and detailed understanding of FAA Regulations, ISO and NADCAP requirements, and company policy and procedure.
  • Ability to write and interpret technical data and implement procedures to improve internal quality assurance controls.
  • Ability to evaluate customer specifications (i.e. blueprints, warranties, etc.)
  • Knowledge and use of inspection equipment.
  • Ability to accurately interpret blueprints and/or works in-process documents. Computer literate. 


  • Ensure the company is in compliance with all policies, procedures, rules and regulations through the creation and implementation of internal audits.
  • Utilizes knowledge of FAA Regulations, ISO and NADCAP requirements, and company policy and procedure to ensure company compliance.
  • Creates and maintains good rapport with customers, regulatory agencies and other external contacts and works to ensure that the Company’s operations and practices are sufficient to achieve the best possible outcome for the Company after any external audit.
  • Creates, plans, organizes, and performs internal audits of quality programs and procedures. Generate and track cause and corrective actions.
  • Uses sound discretion and judgment to follow thru with audit findings and recommendations.
  • Works in conjunction with all levels of management to ensure sound and effective resolutions are implemented.
  • Creates and conducts quality program training (QCP, QCM, ISO, etc.) for all level of employees.
  • Ensures compliance with Company AS/ISO and NADCAP quality requirements.
  • Review customer quality requirements and ensure compliance with same thru timely communication with production.
  • Review and modify or write Quality Assurance Procedure and process specifications in accordance with customer quality requirements.
  • General department housekeeping.
  • The marginal duties and responsibilities (performed occasionally or at irregular intervals) for this position are:
  1. Conduct component receiving inspections and/or reviews final inspection documentation, as required.
  2. Conduct component layout inspections.
  3. Perform external audits off site of CSD service providers as needed.
  4. Perform other tasks in the facility, as needed.
