Job Overview
The Software Integration team is a part of SW team responsible for ensuring the protocol stack maintains a high software quality standard and performs at optimum levels.


Responsibilities:


Integration and testing of Multi-mode (4G/3G/2G) based smartphone and data card devices.


Support China modem Software and Firmware teams component release and new feature development/verification.


Support Modem chipset Bring up


On chip debugging of and troubleshooting of test failures with appropriate technology teams.


Tool development, scripts, GUIs for process improvements such as Automation.
Minimum Qualifications
Good understanding on wireless communication, Familiar with 3GPP standards

Good English communication and interpersonal skills

1+ years of experience in the following:

Software development with C, C++, Perl or Python

Software development or function tests for cellular system of 2G, 3G or 4G

Ability to debug Embedded Real Time Systems using Trace32 JTAG, etc.

Create scripts (PERL/Python) to analyze test results to allow quick indication of pass/fail results

Ability to use wireless communication test equipment, analyze test logs and isolate test failures
Preferred Qualifications
Build integration experience a plus.


Previous experience in Wireless protocols (LTE,TDSCDMA, WCDMA, GSM, CDMA, WLAN) a plus


Version Control Software: Perforce, Clearcase, or equivalent


Ability to write and debug Software Generation program: GNU Make, SCons.


Ability to communicate clearly with diverse group of software development and test teams


Organize effectively, and document work thoroughly


Familiar with GNU family compiler/linker usage.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's, Communication engineering, computer engineering or equivalent experience
