Volt Workforce Solutions is currently hiring several Proposal Specialist of all levels. 

Salary: $30-$41/ Hour DOE and Level.

Proposal Specialist would be responsible for:

-Presents pricing/ cost to management and customers

-Edits and develops non-technical sections of proposals and assist technical authors in maintaining requirements

-Ensures that proposals meet RFP requirements and are well written

-Gets involved in cost and pricing reviews with management

-Must have a general understanding of proposal concepts, principles and theory; knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and related governmental rules and regulations

-Experience demonstrating a broad and practical application of those principles, concepts, and practices

Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Technical Writing, or related discipline and 3-10 years of progressive professional commercial or government proposal experience.

Equivalent professional proposal experience may be substituted in lieu of education.

Must have a complete understanding of proposal concepts, principles and theory; knowledge of FAR and related governmental rules and regulations; and experience demonstrating a broad and practical application of those principles, concepts, and practices.

Must possess the ability to understand new concepts quickly; apply them accurately throughout an evolving environment; organize, schedule and coordinate work phases; and, determine the appropriate approach at the task level or, at the project level to provide solutions to a range of complex problems.

Must have strong communication, computer, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and lead a team; able to perform complex tasks in one technical proposal area; and, lead a team of less experienced support and/or professional employees on non-routine tasks.
