(IA) Information Assurance Manager (CISSP/CISM/GSLC RMF) | DoD/Aerospace | Rancho Bernardo, CA (DIRECT HIRE)

Experienced Information Assurance Manager to assist with managing our Classified Computing team here in San Diego. This person will need to have “hands-on” technical experience as well as personnel management depth. Strongly preferred that they have experience managing Special Access Programs. The team consists of 12 ISSO’s and ISSM’s.

This position will be located in Rancho Bernardo and will travel to our Torrey Pines and Poway locations as needed. Very sporadic travel to our locations outside of CA.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5 – 10 years of (IA) Information Assurance Management experience leading teams of 10+
  • Must possess or have ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • MUST HAVE one of the following security certifications: CISSP, CISM or GSLC
  • Policies and implementation of Risk Management Framework (RMF): e.g. DAAPM, ICD-503, JSIG, and NIST 800 series special publications.
  • Experience with security relevant tools, systems, and applications in support of RMF to include: NESSUS, ACAS, DISA STIGs, SCAP, and HBSS
  • MUST HAVE career stability with (FTE) full time employment of 3 – 5+ years within the same organization

Compensation

  • We do have the ability to extend sign on bonuses. This will be reviewed case by case, and is not automatic or guaranteed as part of the offer. (I would not mention to candidate)
  • We do have a bonus program in place = company performance-based program. Distributed beginning of year. Will discuss bonus program with candidates.

Interview Process

  • 20-30 min phone screen
  • 1 hr phone interview with 2-4 team members and/or Information Assurance Director
  • Onsite Interview
    • 1 hr w Talent Acquisition
    • 1 hr w ISSM team
    • 1 hr w IA Director
    • 1 hr with CIO
    • Possible additional interviews with internal customers may be requested.
  • Decision will be made once right candidate is identified
  • Debriefs with hiring managers 48 hours after onsite interview takes place
