Exciting opening for a Recruiter to join a fast paced team to support critical New Grad & Internship openings within a large manufacturing company in the Oil & Gas industry. Hiring for New Grad & Internships provides a talent pipeline to engineering opportunities across the business. The Recruiter will be recruiting for positions primarily based out of San Diego and a small portion in Texas. The recruiting efforts are focused around the Spring time frame to align with the college recruitment season with students/employees starting the following year. The successful candidate for this position must have strong communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization. The role will experience high volumes of work requiring outstanding organizational and multi-tasking abilities.

The responsibilities of the College Recruiter includes:

    \\t
  • Full life-cycle recruiting: conduct strategy meetings with hiring managers, positing positions, recruiting/screening candidates, conduct phone interviews with candidates, create offer letters and extend job offers, complete pre-employment process, and hire candidates. \\t
  • Partners with business recruiters to coordinate attendance at career fairs, track resumes of interviewed candidates from career fairs, communicate back to the business of the status of potential candidates found at career fairs.\\t
  • Ensure the business is registered for Target Partner School career fairs, assemble recruitment teams, provide Recruiter Training, inventory recruitment materials in preparation.\\t
  • Manage candidate activity through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure compliance and process requirements have been met.\\t
  • Communicate with hiring managers that updated information has been provided via ATS actions.\\t
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Recruiters on recruiting related items, when appropriate.\\t
  • Support any recruiting related strategies for hiring initiatives.


    Minimum qualifications include:

      \\t
    • Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 1 year related experience in Human Resources.\\t
    • Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and prioritize high volumes of work.\\t
    • Familiarity with working recruiting process such as ATS/requisition management, interviewing candidates, etc.\\t
    • Strong computer skills and ability to pick up applications quickly.\\t
    • Experience with MS Office Suite, specifically Word & Excel.
